The NPP’s candidate’s strength was only to share money—NDC PC

Parliamentary Candidate for the Ododiodo Constituency, Kotey Ashie, has said that he knew that he was winning the seat.

This he said is because the candidate presented by the governing New Patriotic Party was a weak candidate whose only strength was to share cash.

He rather built relationships with the people, and they honored him by voting massively for him.

“It’s been a long day, and thankfully it has come to a beautiful end. I knew the end from the beginning, so I’m not surprised at all. I just thank God for how things are and I hope and pray that things will get better and I am ready to work hard for things to get better for Ododiodo.

I knew the NPP guy was no match and his strength was to share money. The secret in politics is not even relationship building; politics is relationships. I’ve built very good relationship with the people and I knew I will win.

People noticed that my media presence was not strong, and people were worried, but I kept telling them it’s like you are going to war you don’t let your strategy out in the open for your adversary to know and that I will rather do my things on the quiet than be all over social media and I don’t need to impress anybody, I need to impress the voters and I’ve done that,” he told the media.
