Her remarkable achievements culminated in an outstanding WASSCE performance, where she secured straight A’s in all eight subjects. In March 2019, during the West African Examinations Council’s Excellence Awards, Brago was recognized as the Second Best WASSCE Student in Ghana (2018) and the Third Best Student in West Africa.

Continuing her academic journey, Brago pursued a six-year medical programme at KNUST Medical School, earning a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology in 2021 and graduating with a degree in Medicine and Surgery in 2024.

Her exceptional academic merit earned her a prestigious exchange programme opportunity at the University of Michigan Medical School in 2023, further cementing her place as a global scholar.

Brago attributes her success to her ability to manage time effectively—a skill she honed during her years at Yaa Asantewaa Girls’ Senior High School. The structured schedule at YAGSHS equipped her with the discipline and planning skills that have been instrumental in her academic and professional journey.

Dr. Brago Afrifa Sarpong’s story is a shining beacon of inspiration, proving that with hard work, determination, and a commitment to excellence, greatness is achievable.

Congratulations, Dr. Brago, on this extraordinary achievement!
