The Communications Ministry has written to the Attorney General for advice on several contracts signed by the Ministry.
The move by the Ministry is in line with the President’s zero tolerance for corruption and value for money on all public-private partnerships.
The Ministry has requested a legal opinion on the terms, compliance and viability of the contracts for the commercialization of the e-Government infrastructure by Messrs Lebara Ghana Limited and Smart Infraco Ghana Limited.
It is also requesting the same opinion on the contract for the Design, Development and Implementation of a Common Platform for Traffic Monitoring, Revenue Assurance, Mobile Money Monitoring and Fraud Management by Messrs Kelni GVG Limited.
