Member of Parliament for Old Tafo in the Ashanti Region, Ekow Vincent Assafuah, says the John Dramani Mahama government that promised jobs is rather displacing workers.
Reports in the local media suggest that the Chief of Staff has terminated all appointments after December 7, 2024.
However, in a statement shared via his social media, Vincent Ekow Assafuah indicated that it is shocking that a government that promised economic expansion and job creation would rather displace workers.
To him, this directive by the Chief of Staff goes contrary to why Ghanaians voted for the current government.
He has urged Ghanaians who have been delt with by the decision to reach out to him as he intends to take the government on.
