Former Chief Executive of the National Entrepreneurship & Innovation Programme (NEIP), Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, has explained that people who had power during the tenure of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, appointees, never put the interests of the party first.
He says powerful people (Appointees and non Appointees) always put their parochial interests above those of the party, and that led to the defeat they chalked in the 2024 elections.
Kofi Ofosu Nkansah said businessmen in the political party were the hardest hit due to the greed and callousness of these powerful people.
Adding that they took all the business opportunities for themselves.
He prayed that in the next NPP administration, the political party must not get greedy people who will be powerful.

There were influential People who had power either directly or indirectly (Appointees and non Appointees) who hardly put party interest first. They were only interested in their parochial interest. Our businessmen were the worst affected by their greed and callousness. They took all the business opportunities for themselves.
