Isaac Dogboe harbors the ambition of becoming the GBA president.
Isaac Royal Storm Dogboe has expressed the desire to become the Ghana Boxing Authority President in the very near future.
Declaring via a tweet, the self-styled Royal Storm stated,
“Don’t worry, people, When I take office as the president of the GBA. I’ll bring a lot of money to the table because that’s what many are after (MONEY) and a lot more refined fighters. We will make the nation fall in love with boxing again, and we will breed a new generation of warriors,” he expressed.
Ghana Boxing is currently at the crossroads as the GBA elections take center stage come July of this year, 2025, and to many, Abraham Kotei Neequaye’s administration, although it started well, has seen Ghana Boxing dip to its lowest, coupled with his dictatorial practices; hence, it comes as no surprise that for the first time in the history of the elections, there are more than 6 people in contention for the portfolio, such has been the abysmal performance of the current Neequaye regime.
In contention for the portfolio are Alex Ntiamoah-Boakye of Box Office Sports Promotions, referee Roger Barnor, Ivan Bruce Cudjoe, Dr. Henry Manly-Spain, former boxer nicknamed Mosquito, Rabon Dodoo, and the incumbent Abraham Kotei Neequaye.
