General Secretary for the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fiifi Kwetey has congratulated nominees announced for the regional ministers position.
He tells them the government has reposed their trust in them and is hopeful that they will help in the resetting agenda.
The general secretary, who has vowed to be a watchdog during the administration of the NDC, made this known in a post shared via social media.
To him, the party strongly believes in the potential of individuals nominated, and therefore, they should in no way disappoint the people who put them in the leadership position.
His post read, “Congratulations to the first batch of Regional Minister nominees by H.E. John Dramani Mahama. We trust in your leadership to help reset Ghana for progress”.
President John Dramani Mahama has announced ten out of the sixteen regions across the country.
These regional ministers will be vetted, and if approved, will join John Dramani Mahama’s government.
