Mahama gives Lands Commission 14 days to produce a report on the sale of state lands

The President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, has, as part of his move to reset Ghana, requested the Lands Commission to provide him with a comprehensive report of all recent and ongoing transactions concerning state and public lands.

The Lands Commission has 14 days of communication to provide the office of the president with this report.

The move by John Dramani Mahama is to help facilitate a comprehensive review of the current framework governing the management of such lands.

The President has also asked that all ongoing transactions concerning state lands are halted by the commission.

This is part of efforts by the new government to avoid state capture and reset Ghana to make the West African country better.
