Presidential Dinner angers NDC foot soldiers

There is a hue and cry in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) over the invitation of people to the presidential dinner.

Some foot soldiers of the political party in power cannot fathom why they were left out of the good times when they struggled on the streets to get the political party to power.

To them, it is unfair that some young ladies who were not seen nor heard during the campaign will have the opportunity when it comes to merrymaking.

Television host Oheneba Boamah Benie who joined the foot soldiers in their complaint could not understand why someone like him who had to be imprisoned for the sake of the political party did not even know there was such an event to celebrate the victory they all fought for.

“Next time if such an event is taking place, please remember some of us. We can also dance just like those who were invited. I’ve seen some ladies who were at the dinner and I can bet they did not contribute to the party’s electoral success. I went to prison for the party and such good times cannot come and go without me being invited,” he said.

Others have also expressed concerns over the kind of people who were invited to the dinner.
