Nigeria’s billionaire, Prince Chinedu Munir Ned Nwoko, was among the distinguished guests who attended the inauguration of President John Dramani Mahama.
Known as Ned Nwoko, the influential businessman and finance guru, whose net worth was estimated at $1.2 billion as of August 2024, was present at the Black Star Square on January 7, 2025, accompanied by his wife, Regina Daniels.
Nwoko’s wealth stems from his diverse business empire, both in Nigeria and abroad, with investments spanning real estate, oil, tourism, agriculture, and the arts. He is also the founder of Mount Delta, a government-approved tourism destination in Delta State.
Apart from his business ventures, Nwoko gained wealth through his political career in Nigeria and earns royalties as a member of the prominent Nwoko family in Idumeje Ugboko, Delta State.
Ned and his wife Regina Daniels dressed elegantly for the occasion, drawing cheers from the crowd as their presence was recognized. Reporters scrambled to get interviews, but the couple remained focused on the event, flashing warm smiles at the enthusiastic audience.
Their presence symbolized the strong ties between Ghana and Nigeria, two nations often celebrated as the twin pillars of West Africa.
Mahama’s investiture marked his triumphant return to the presidency, following a decisive victory in the 2024 elections. The event was attended by a host of dignitaries, including regional leaders, international diplomats, and prominent figures from various industries.
