Executive Director of Ghana Center for Democratic Development (CDD-Ghana), H. Kwasi Prempeh has urged the new government to get to work.
He believes the pomp and pageantry is over and they need to start getting their hands dirty to reset Ghana as they promised during the electioneering campaign.
The CDD Executive Director describes Ghana as the unglamarous PRODUCT inside the glossy packaging.
In a post shared via social media, H. Kwasi Prempeh said, “It’s the morning after. The branding and packaging bit is over with. Time now to begin work on the unglamarous PRODUCT inside the glossy packaging”.
John Dramani Mahama was inaugurated on January 7, 2025 as the president of Ghana.
He became Ghana’s 6th president under the Fourth Republic.
John Dramani Mahama is, however, coming in for his second term after he failed to win the 2016 elections.
John Dramani Mahama, 66, is expected to tackle familiar challenges, including corruption, high unemployment, inflation, and public discontent.
