Deputy Communications Director for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ernest Owusu Bempah has indicated that there will be nothing new under John Dramani Mahama.
He foresees the president-elect failing as woefully as he did during his first term that ended in 2024.
Owusu Bempah was speaking to Oyerepa TV when he made this known.
Among the negatives that will happen under the new administration, he says, will be a return to dumsor (unstable power supply) because the current government will find it difficult to keep the lights on.
“John Mahama will punish the Ghanaian people. There will be dumsor coming soon. I am in the energy sector, and I know what is happening,” he said.
On Free SHS, he indicated that the government will not be able to raise revenue enough to support the programme.
“Probably they won’t have money in the coming years to pay for Free SHS and they will be doing waratuwarasa. You heard what Seth Terkper said. He has given us an indication of what they intend to do. They want to test the minds of the people,” he said.
