Reports indicate that the police have deployed over 5000 men to the old Electoral Commission building where the recollation of some constituencies that were illegally collated in the December 7, 2024 elections will take place.
This follows a High Court in Accra on Friday, December 20, ordered the Electoral Commission to recollate the votes of Nsawam Adoagyir.
And the EC Chair’s Press Conference explained that some declarations made were illegal and will have to be recollated.
Among the constituencies to be recollated are Ablekuma North, Nsawam Adoagyir.
Meanwhile, reports indicate that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have filed a process at the Supreme Court for a Stay of Execution and has submitted same to the Ghana Police Service.
