I started mining while doing the work of God

Before Prophet Ogyaba became a prominent spiritual leader, his life took a unique turn as he balanced the worlds of mining and ministry.

In a recent interview on Kingdom FM, he shared insights into his early days, revealing how his work in mining intertwined with his spiritual calling.

“I started mining when I was doing the work of God,” Prophet Ogyaba recalled with a smile. “So, I had specific days I would go and mine, and other days I would use for church. I was doing all these with my brother-in-law, Adu.”

Prophet Ogyaba explained how the partnership worked. “He would go and secure the land, then I would pay for it, so we started the mining activity together.”

He emphasized that mining wasn’t just a business venture for them, but a way to help the youth in their community.

“It was also for the youth there. The mining activity helped create jobs, and I felt that by doing this, I was contributing to the development of the community while also staying committed to my spiritual work.”

This unique duality in his life continued for some time as he navigated the responsibilities of both his spiritual calling and his business ventures.

“I had to balance the two because they both played significant roles in my life,” Prophet Ogyaba explained.

“It wasn’t easy, but I believed that both paths could coexist in a way that would benefit me and others.”
