Shettima Prays for Nigeria’s Prosperity in Saudi Arabia [VIDEO]


Nigeria’s vice president, Kashima Shettima has prayed for the prosperity of the country at the Holy Mosque of Makkah (Masjid al-Haram) in Saudi Arabia where he performed the Lesser Hajj.

Making his supplications on behalf of the nation, the vice president also prayed for the peace and stability on Wednesday, December 2024.

He called for God’s guidance to and his intervention for the Nigeria’s leadership and the people in general.

In a video shared by the special adviser to the vice president on media and communication, Stanley Nkwocha on X, Shettimawas seen calling for divine attributes for leaders of the nation.

He said, “Our prayer is for peace to prevail in our land. May Allah grant our land peace and social harmony.

“May Allah grant our leaders, from the President down to our local councillors wisdom , patience and the generosity of Muhammad Rasulullah in all their dealings.

“May Allah grant us the wisdom to rule our nation well and to govern our people well.”

“Let there be peace, tranquility and prosperity in our nation. This is our prayer and Insha’ Allah, our prayers will be answered by Allah,” Shettima prayed.

Recall that the vice president departed Dubai., the United Arab Emirates, where he commissioned a $315 million oil production and storage facility owned by Oriental Energy Limited (OERL).

The Nigerian-owned facility was commissioned by the vice president who represented President Bola Tinubu.

Shettima is expected to return to Nigeria on Friday, December 20, 2024, after he attends a bilateral meeting with the President of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) in Jeddah.
