Captain Smart Mocks K.T. Hammond After Defeat in Viral Video

A video featuring media personality Captain Smart mocking the former Member of Parliament for the Adansi Asokwa constituency in the Ashanti Region, K.T. Hammond, has surfaced online.

In the video, Captain Smart is seen mocking K.T. Hammond, repeatedly saying in the local dialect, “Honourable, you lost.” The video has since gained attention on social media.

In response to Captain Smart’s remarks, the former Adansi Asokwa MP explained that he was not surprised by the media personality’s actions, as he believes Captain Smart has long harboured a desire for the NPP government to lose the elections. K.T. Hammond stated that given this history, he had anticipated such behaviour following the party’s defeat.

Despite the mockery, K.T. Hammond has made it clear that he is not ready to concede defeat in the recently concluded elections.

After the December 7th elections, K.T. Hammond received 13,275 votes, while his opponent, Animli Dorgbadzi Dorani of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), secured 14,229 votes, thereby winning the seat.

However, the outcome has not sat well with the former MP. Since Saturday, he has been calling for a recount of the ballots. Speaking to Joy News on Monday, when asked whether he was prepared to concede, K.T. Hammond firmly responded, “No, I will not concede.”
