An individual has lost his life while another is battling several degrees of injury following a shootout incident in Nyankpala in the Northern Region of Ghana.
The Police in a statement said they have arrested four persons in connection with the shooting while the injured individual is receiving medical attention.
The remains of the dead has since been deposited at the morgue for autopsy.
Reports indicate that the dead individual was an executive of the National Democratic Congress who protested.
The Police have commenced investigations into the matter after restoring clam to the place.
Ghana is choosing its leaders for the next four years.
