Polling Station Agent Arrested for Double Voting in Western Region


The Ghana Police Service has apprehended a polling station agent, Kwofie Stephen, for double voting at the Wassa Akropong-Appiahkrom polling station A in the Western Region during the ongoing general elections.

According to the police, the suspect was caught engaging in electoral fraud, casting more than one vote, an offense that undermines the integrity of the electoral process. Kwofie Stephen is currently in custody and is assisting with investigations.

Authorities have assured the public of a thorough investigation to uphold the rule of law throughout the elections.
