Voters reject food alleged to be from Ursula Owusu


Some voters in the Ablekuma West Constituency have rejected food packs allegedly provided to them by their incumbent Member of Parliament, Ursula Owusu.

In a video that has emerged on social media, a pickup truck carrying food packs was rejected amidst hooting.

The driver of the vehicle was seen driving out of the polling centre while the electorates were hooting at him.

It has not been confirmed if the food was coming from Ursula Owusu, but some electorates who spoke to this website indicated that they strongly believe the package was coming from her.

Also some occupants of the pickup truck confirmed that they went sent to the polling station by Ursula Owusu.

Voting is currently underway in over 40,000 polling stations across the country. As of the time of this report, the election exercise is going on smoothly at polling stations with no violence reported.
