Ghanaians are today voting for new leaders who will steer the affairs of the country for the next four years.
As of 2 am on December 7, Ghanaians had joined queues to cast their ballots.
In the hopes that the election will begin at precisely 7 a.m. nationwide, the Electoral Commission has sent out electoral materials.
The election is between the Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who wants to be president on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The former president, John Dramani Mahama, wants to be president again and is representing the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

In all, there are 13 personalities on the ballot paper; however, 12 persons are alive, while Akua Donkor of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) is dead but is still on the ballot paper.
