Flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia addressed the people of Ghana through a video.
In the video, the NPP flagbearer outlined why he must be voted for by the people of Ghana in the 2024 elections.
He is optimistic that he can take Ghana into a bright future.
The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party spoke highly about their achievement as a political party but was quick to add that they have been challenged in some fronts; something he will deal with when given power.
He indicated that his life in public service has been influenced by his life’s experiences. Adding that he has built a public life based on integrity.
Here are five things he said during his last address to the people of Ghana:
- We head into the 2024 polls on Saturday, December 2024 with one overarching objective in mind: to elect a leader capable of transforming the country in a manner that creates opportunity for all sections. The choice before us is thus, a straight forward one and located on number one on the ballot paper.
- My record of public service has always revolved around integrity, commitment, and passion, with my eyes firmly fixed on practical solutions to make life better for the majority of our people. My guiding principle has always been to look for guiding progress even in the face of seemingly insurmountable challenges.
- My approach to service has been influenced largely by my life experiences that has taught me the core values of empathy and the need to reflect on the different challenges confronting people from diverse backgrounds.
- As we go and decide on who takes over the leadership of the country I know you’ll reflect on the phenomenal progress we have made over the last eight years under the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
- In virtually all sectors, we have demonstrated a superior record over and above what our main opponent can contemplate.
