Flagbearer of the People’s National Convention(PNC) for the 2024 elections, Bernard Mornah has been involved in an accident.
MyNewsGh.com confirmed that the accident occurred at Esaase Bontefufuo in the Amansie West District of the Ashanti Region on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, while on a campaign tour of the region.
Mr. Mornah and two other occupants including the driver, escaped with some minor injuries and have since been treated and discharged.
It is gathered that, due to the dusty road between Esaase Bontefufuo and Essuowin, visibility was poor, and one of the vehicles suddenly applied the brakes.
The ash Toyota Landcruiser vehicle in which Bernard Mornah was, ran into the vehicle and another speeding vehicle also hit him in the back.
The front of Mornah’s vehicle was badly damaged while the other two suffered some defects but it is gathered that the accident vehicles have been towed from the scene.
Bernard Mornah when reached on the phone confirmed the accident to MyNewsGh.com but indicated he was on his way to Accra to attend the National Democratic Congress(NDC) final rally as well as receive further medical attention.
“But I am fine and will undergo further medical examination in Accra”, he said.
