Emirates Manager’s Alleged Kidnap: Rashida Saani ‘Breaks Silence ‘


Rashida Saani, journalist and entrepreneur has broken her silence on social media days after her name emerged around allegations of abduction of Sylvia Baah, Emirates Airport Manager. 

Sylvia’s abduction was allegedly linked to her refusal to allow two National Security officials and Rashida Saani travelling on an Emirates flight from Accra to Dubai onboard the aircraft, after their late arrival.

Their names had several times, been announced but could not be traced.

Rashida Saani, was heard casting insinuations on why her name was being paged in the airport PA system.

Some staff of Emirates heard her utterances and narrated it to their boss Sylvia, who told them to note Rashida’s threats and blame her if anything untoward happened to her.

Sylvia Baah was abducted and later released after a public uproar in what was allegedly a national security operation. The Ministry of National Security has since denied its involvement and launched an investigation.

Rashida Saani Nassamu who had been tight-lipped since the incident posted for the first time on social media platform Facebook. 

Madam Saani posted a picture of receiving what was not clear from a white man in a room. 

She added the following caption to the image: 

“INSPIRATION: …Young entrepreneurs must stay optimistic & see the glass as ‘half-full, not half-empty’.  REALITY: .. Dear young entrepreneur, note that ‘the glass is refillable’ !” 

The journalist and businesswoman is yet to respond specifically to the allegations that have gone viral on social media.
