South Korean actress Kim Sae-ron has been found dead in her home in Seoul’s Seongdong-gu district. She was 24 years old.
A friend, who had planned to meet Kim, discovered her body and immediately alerted authorities. Police have stated that there were no immediate signs of foul play, but an investigation is underway to determine the cause of death.
Kim, who gained international fame as a child star in A Brand New Life (2009) and The Man from Nowhere (2010), continued to establish herself in the industry with roles in The Neighbor (2012) and A Girl at My Door (2014). Most recently, she starred in the Netflix series Bloodhounds in 2023.

Her career, however, took a downturn in 2022 after a high-profile drunk driving incident in Seoul’s Gangnam district. The accident led to property damage and a temporary power outage, resulting in legal trouble and public scrutiny.
Following the news of her death, fans and industry figures have expressed their shock and grief, mourning the loss of a talented actress whose life and career were cut short. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding her passing.
