A letter in the possession of MyNewsGh.com indicates that the Mayo Clinic, where former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta is receiving care, wrote to the office of the special prosecutor.
In the letter, his doctor, Ahmed Adalhim, confirmed that the former minister has been seen and evaluated at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
He explained that his medical condition necessitates that he stay and follow up on his appointments and undergo further tests and management, including possible surgical intervention in March of 2025.
The doctor urged the special prosecutor to contact him if he had any further questions.
It is therefore shocking that after the letter dated February 7, 2025, was made available to the OSP, he went ahead to declare Ken ofori Atta a fugitive on February 12, 2025.
