He’s Tinubu, Atiku’s Man, Labour Party’s Spokesperson Reacts To Kenneth Okonkwo’s Exit

Actor Kenneth Okonkwo’s exit from the Labour Party has been described as good riddance to bad rubbish.

This description was given about the former LP member’s resignation by the factional spokesperson for the party, Abayomi Arabambi.

Speaking in an interview with Channels Television, Arabami said Okonkwo was never in Labour Party with all his heart.

According to him, the actor is an All Progressives Congress (APC) man who has worked with both Bola Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar.

He said, “We wish Mr Kenneth Okonkwo well. His resignation is good riddance to bad rubbish. He should not speak about the Labour Party anymore.

”There is no leadership crisis in the Labour Party. The party is not going into extinction. It is just a figment of the imaginations of most of our detractors.”

Arabambi alleged that Okonkwo has also been in bed with the AP, noting that he was never a loyal member of the Labour Party.

“The APC man has been working with President Tinubu before, that is Kenneth Okonkwo, he worked against Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar in the 2023 elections. We wish him well and we will meet in 2027,” he said.

Noting that the Labour Party is not interested in whatever Okonkwo is doing or saying, Arabami said the party’s focus is to unseat President Tinubu in the next election.

”But in 2027 we are not going to have such political rascality in our party. The National Chairman is on a reconciliatory mission which is why you see a lot of people being jittery,” Arabami stated.
