Akufo-Addo promoted Ken Ofori-Atta despite corruption allegations – Blakk Rasta

Blakk Rasta has criticized President Akufo-Addo for promoting former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta despite corruption allegations.

Speaking on his Urban Blend show on 3FM, the outspoken musician and radio host expressed disappointment in the president’s decision.

“The whole Ghana, including members of his own party, condemned his very inefficient way of handling the economy,” he said. “But the arrogant president decided that everyone else was wrong, and he was right—alongside his cousin, Ken Ofori-Atta.”

Blakk Rasta questioned the rationale behind Ofori-Atta’s elevation, suggesting that it ignored public outcry and reinforced a pattern of favouritism within the government.

The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has now summoned Ken Ofori-Atta, a move that Blakk Rasta believes is necessary. However, he remains skeptical about the government’s commitment to fighting corruption.
