Who will win the local bragging rights as Henry Malm squares off against Derrick Quaye?

Henry Malm has officially signed a contract to fight Derick Quaye on Ghana’s Independence Day, March 6, 2025.

The highly anticipated matchup was organized by Mubarak Yusif Nanor, who was named the best matchmaker at the 2024 Boxing Ghana Awards.

This electrifying event will take place in Jamestown, the birthplace of Ghanaian boxing, where the supporters of both fighters are eager to claim local bragging rights.

Henry “Assassin Junior” Malm (9-0-0) has a strong background in amateur boxing and was part of the latest Ghana delegation for the Paris Olympics qualifiers. He is a skilled and stylish boxer known for his impressive performance in his last fight against Justice Addy, which was promoted by Nana’s Promotions last December.

Henry delivered a spectacular victory over Addy and will need to bring his best on March 6 against another talented contender. Derick Quaye rose to fame after delivering a stunning knockout against Michael Ansah, known as “One Bullet,” in just two rounds.

Derick is an incredible young power puncher with a record of 6 wins, 4 by knockout, and 1 draw. He was initially scheduled to fight Mohammed Tagoe this month, but that match fell through, leading him to sign this crucial contract with Henry Malm, with local pride on the line.

May the best fighter win!
