Gospel singer Nathaniel Bassey’s online praise and prayer programme, Hallelujah Challenge, has taken social media by storm once again since its commencement on Monday, February 10.
Thousands of worshippers have thronged the social media pages of the Ebenezer hitmaker to engage in a time of intense praise and worship. Many participants have also shared their expectations and testimonies in the comments section of his live sessions.
The response has been overwhelming, with over 479,000 people joining via YouTube and approximately 300,000 others participating on Facebook and Instagram.
This massive engagement has sparked conversations online, making Hallelujah Challenge a trending topic on X in Ghana.
Since its inception in 2017, the programme has seen an increasing turnout each year. Several renowned pastors and gospel artistes, including Apostle Joshua Selman, Pastor Jerry Eze, Apostle Victoria Orenze, Joe Praize, Eben, and Lilian Nneji, have graced the event with their presence.
Despite facing criticisms over the years, Nathaniel Bassey remains undeterred. This edition of the Hallelujah Challenge is expected to conclude on March 1, 2025, with even more participants expected to join in the coming days.
