Nene Drolor Bosso Adamtey I has been elected as the Greater Accra Region’s representative on the Council of State after securing 40 votes in a keenly contested election.
Initially, 13 candidates were in the race, but three—Obed Nyarko, Albert Borketey Naawu, and Musah Ziyad—withdrew before voting commenced, reducing the number of contenders to 10.
Delegates overwhelmingly backed Nene Drolor Bosso Adamtey I, granting him the mandate to serve as the region’s voice on the advisory body.
His election reflects strong support for his leadership and vision for Greater Accra’s development.
