President John Dramani Mahama has reportedly revoked all public sector appointments and recruitments made after December 7, 2024, according to multiple sources. This decision was allegedly communicated through a confidential letter addressed to all heads of government institutions.
A related directive, issued by the Chief Director, calls for the submission of payroll details of staff members added since December 7, 2024.
The request emphasizes the administration’s commitment to ensuring accuracy and integrity in government payroll records.
Institutions have been asked to provide the full names, job designations, employee identification numbers (if applicable), dates of appointment, and dates added to payroll for affected employees.
