NDC will deliver, not intimidate – Dafeamekpor assures Ghanaians

Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor has assured Ghanaians that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will leverage its majority in Parliament to introduce welfare policies that benefit the people.

Speaking on TV3’s Hot Issues with Kemini Amanor monitored by MyNewsGH, the South Dayi MP dismissed claims that the NDC intends to use its numerical strength to intimidate the Minority, stressing that their focus is on governance, not domination.

“We won’t use our numbers to intimidate the Minority. Even without doing so, they are already calling me names, saying I am bullying them.

“If we truly wanted to force our way, they wouldn’t have a place in Parliament. But that’s not what we do,” he stated.

Dafeamekpor emphasized that public sentiment supports the NDC demonstrating its parliamentary dominance, assuring that the party is settling in and will soon flex its political muscles.

His remarks come at a time when Ghanaians expect the government to fulfil its promises, with the economy and social interventions remaining key areas of concern.

“He also dismissed claims that the party was struggling to assert itself, stating, “We are not struggling. We are settling in. We will show our strength—trust me.”
