Tensions ran high during a session of the Appointments Committee as Minority and Majority members clashed over the vetting of Kwabena Mintah Akandoh and Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa.
The dispute arose when the Minority proposed postponing the vetting to Friday, citing concerns over the day’s proceedings.
However, the Majority opposed the suggestion, insisting that the process continue as scheduled.
The standoff quickly escalated into chaos, with some Minority members reportedly disrupting proceedings by breaking tables and microphones in protest.
Despite the disorder, the Majority maintained that the committee was adhering to its established schedule and insisted the vetting proceed without delay.
Ultimately, the session was postponed.
