The European Football governing body, UEFA has released the playoff draw for its Champions League competition.
Eight top teams secured direct qualification to the round of 16, while sixteen others will battle it out in a two-legged play-off.
The eight teams who avoided playoffs include Liverpool, Barcelona, Arsenal, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, Lille, and Aston Villa.
Meanwhile, the 16 other teams will face off in the play-off round, with the winners advancing to the next stage.
