Seven Appointees are expected to be vetted today January 30, 2025.
The seven include Rashid Pelpuo Minister Designate for the Ministry of Labour, Jobs, and Employment, whose vetting will start at 8 am.
He will be followed by Murtala Mohammed Minister Designate for the Ministry of Environment, Science, and Technology, who will appear before the committee at 9 am.
The committee will then vet Samuel Nartey George, Minister Designate for the Ministry of Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovations at 10:00 a.m.
Kofi Adams who has been nominated to lead the Sports Ministry, will face the committee at 11 am after which the committee will break and resume at 12:30 pm.
At 12:30 p.m., Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Minister Designate for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will be vetted.
Joseph Bukari Nikpe, Minister Designate for the Ministry of Transport, will be vetted at 1:30 p.m.
Issifu Seidu, Minister of State for Climate Change and Sustainability, will appear before the committee at 2:30 p.m.
Mrs. Charity Gardiner, Minister Designate for the Ahafo Region will end the day as she will take the vetting seat at 3:30 pm.
On Friday, January 31, 2025, the following ministers-designate will be vetted:
- Salisu Be-Awuribe Issifu, Esq – Minister Designate for the Savannah Region at 8:00 a.m.
- Wilbert Petty Brentum – Minister Designate for the Western North Region at 9:00 a.m.
- Felix Kwakye Ofosu, MP – Minister of State for Government Communications at 10:00 a.m.
- Joseph Nelson – Minister Designate for the Western Region at 11:00 a.m.
- Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, MP – Minister Designate for the Ministry of Health at 12:00 p.m.

Puozuing Charles Lwanga – Minister Designate for the Upper West Region at 4:30 p.m.
Joseph Addae Akwaboa – Minister Designate for the Bono Region at 1:30 p.m.
Francis Owusu Antwi – Minister Designate for the Bono East Region at 2:30 p.m.
Edumoah Ekow Panyin Okyere – Minister Designate for the Central Region at 3:30 p.m.
