Ghanaian activist Oliver Barker Vormawor has denied being a member of the National Democratic Congress.
According to him, his ideology has always been in line with the Convention Peoples Party (CPP), a political party he has always voted for.
“I am not an NDC member. I have not been an NDC member in the past,” he stated.
“My ideology, which has always been stated, I’ve always consistently voted consistently for the CPP and I will continue to do so,” he said.
Oliver Barker Vormawor appeared before the Appointments Committee after he was summoned for a post on social media that suggested that the committee was taking monies from appointees to approve them.
He used the opportunity to apologise to the committee and indicated that “it was never intentional to make disparaging comments about the committee.”
