The eagerly anticipated Volta Regional Women’s Division One League is set to begin on January 26, 2025. Eleven clubs will compete in the league, divided into three zones, with two zones consisting of four teams each and the third zone comprising three teams.
Zone A will have Anlo Ladies, Bakpa Ladies, Ketu Ladies, and Agave Glad Ladies. These teams will battle it out for dominance in what promises to be a fiercely competitive group.
Zone B will feature Mepe Peace Ladies, Adidome Unity Ladies, Ho Messtino Ladies, and Holly Ladies. Fans can expect an intense contest as these teams strive to make their mark in the league.
Zone C, the smallest group, will see Dynamo Ladies, Mestino Ladies, and Dream Big Ladies face off in an effort to secure their place at the top.
After the group games, the zonal champions, together with the runners up in Zone A and B will play at the middle league to determine the champion.
The Volta Regional Women’s Division One League has consistently been a platform for nurturing young female football talent in the region. This year’s competition is expected to showcase exceptional skill, teamwork, and determination from all participating clubs.
