A former Vice President of Nigeria has described the death of a son of the Federal Capital Territory commissioner of Police, Tunji Disu as a difficult pain to bear.
Atiku in a post on X on Tuesday, January 21, said the news about Disu’s son’s passing is heartbreaking.
Young Disu was said to have died in a car crash, throwing his family and loved ones into a state of mourning.
In his post on X, Atiku said, “The news about the tragic loss of the son of the Commissioner of Police in FCT in a ghastly auto crash is heartbreaking.”
He prayed for the repose of his soul while praying to God to give the family if the deceased the fortitude to bear such a great loss.
“It is the prayer and expectation of every parent that their children should succeed them. But when nature decides the matter in reverse order, the pain is difficult to bear.
“My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Police Commissioner Olatunji Disu. May God grant them the comfort to bear this agonising loss,” Atiku posted.
