President Mahama’s appointments signal progress in gender inclusion

President John Dramani Mahama has demonstrated a strong commitment to gender inclusion through his latest ministerial and general appointments, which highlight a deliberate effort to improve female representation in leadership.

Out of 25 nominees announced, seven are women, marking a significant step toward bridging the gender gap in governance.

The appointees come from diverse professional backgrounds, emphasising the administration’s dedication to bringing varied expertise to decision-making roles.

This move aligns with the president’s broader vision of empowering women and ensuring their voices are heard at the highest levels of government.
