Havedzi Mighty Warriors Face Off Layoca Beach Soccer Club in 2023/24 Beach Soccer Final


Layoca BSC will be facing off Havedzi Mighty Warriors in the 2023/24 Beach Soccer Final on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at Ada Beach Soccer Arena. Havedzi were champions of the 2013/2014 Beach Soccer and will be chasing their second title while Layoca BSC are making their first ever final.

Stats – History

Since 2011/2012, Sunset Sports Keta have won Beach Soccer 3 times and are the most successful club in the competition with Ada Assurance and the current finalist, Havedzi Mighty Warriors also winning the 2013/2014 cup.

Road to the final

Havedzi have managed 9 wins, 2 draws and 4 losses in 15 matches from zone two having scored 46 goals conceding 39 with 29 points. In zone one, Layoca in 14 matches had 12 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat, scoring 79 goals and conceding 36 with 37 points.

Key Players

Lacoya have two of their players among the top 10 scorers with Mathew Lamptey netting 20 goals with only 6 goals separating him from the top scorer Richmond Tsodzine of Cheetah FC. Richard Osai has also scored 20 goals for Layoca FC in the Beach Soccer League and will be hoping to increase his tally in the final.
