Former President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Kwasi Nyantakyi has indicated that he wouldn’t have sacked Otto Addo if he were the president of the association.
Rather, he would get him the needed support for him to learn as he needs to build his capacity as a Ghanaian.
Nyantakyi was speaking to Asempa FM in Accra when he made this known.
“No, if I don’t get somebody to help him technically, I would have sacked him. But if I get someone to help him technically and build the capacity of a Ghanaian, I will let him stay on and learn,” he said.
Ghana’s Black Stars failed to qualify for the 2025 African Cup of Nations under the leadership of Otto Addo.
This will be the first time Ghana will not be playing at the African Cup of Nations after struggling to even move past group stages in recent ones.
