Distance doesn’t matter – Pastor’s counsel to Shatta Wale’s mom over mansion concerns

Shatta Wale’s mother, Elsie Evelyn Avemegah, may have received a luxurious new home from her son, but her concerns about the house’s location stirred an interesting conversation with Dr. Sam Owusu, the head pastor of Pottersville Church.

According to Bishop Owusu, he was the one who prophesied that Shatta Wale would eventually buy a mansion for his mother, a prediction that has now come true. However, when Mama Elsie shared her thoughts about the property, it was not entirely what she had envisioned.

“She came to me saying the house was too far from the city center,” Bishop Owusu revealed on Asempa FM, monitored by MyNewsGh.

“I listened to her concerns, but I had to remind her that in today’s world, distance doesn’t carry the same weight it once did. Development is happening everywhere, and what seems remote now could be the heart of a booming area tomorrow.”

The pastor’s advice to Mama Elsie was both practical and philosophical. He urged her to embrace the blessing rather than focus on its perceived shortcomings, noting the years of prayers and prophecies that had led to this point.

“This is a house your son gave you out of love. Focus on the joy of having a home rather than worrying about its location,” he reportedly told her.

Bishop Owusu reflected on the journey that brought them to this moment, revealing that he and his fellow pastors had prayed fervently for Mama Elsie and her son for years. He also mentioned that Mama Elsie had previously expressed deep frustrations about feeling neglected by her son.

The pastor noted that while he typically avoids publicizing his prophecies, his team was allowed to share the fulfilment of this particular one on social media after persistent urging. For him, this wasn’t about seeking attention but about showing how faith and divine timing can align to change lives.
