The Presidential Villa was filled with celebration and applause as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday decorated his Aide-De-Camp (ADC), Nurudeen Yusuf, with the substantive rank of Colonel in the Nigerian Army.
Colonel Yusuf, who hails from Kwara State, was promoted from the rank of Lieutenant Colonel to Colonel in a ceremony witnessed by top government officials, military officers, and family members.
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State, joined President Tinubu at the Villa to celebrate Yusuf’s milestone achievement.
President Tinubu, during the ceremony, expressed his admiration for Yusuf’s dedication and professionalism in his service to the presidency and the nation.
The President described the promotion as a reflection of the ADC’s commitment to duty and excellence in military service.
The newly decorated Colonel thanked President Tinubu, the Chief of Army Staff, and his family for their support, pledging to continue his service to the nation with utmost dedication and integrity.
The ceremony concluded with photo sessions, cheers, and heartfelt congratulations from attendees.
