Following the completion of the assessment exercise for male Under-20 players selected from Ghana Premier League clubs, players selected from the Division One League will take their turn commencing January 8th, 2025.
A first batch of twenty-two (22) players will report for camping in Hohoe, on Wednesday, 8th January 2025, with the second batch reporting for the assessment exercise on 13th January, 2025.
Players selected for consideration are high performing Division One League players who are jostling for selection to the national Under 20 male team, the Black Satellites.
Coach Desmond Ofei and his technical team have indicated their intention to continuously and consistently identify talented youngsters who will challenge players who are already in the team.
The Black Satellites, who won gold at the recently held Africa Games, are preparing for the AFCON Under 20 championships, which will be held later this year.
The Satellites’ Technical team is hopeful of identifying precocious talents who would bring the needed levels of competition within the squad to build a winsome team.
