Five Deputy Commissioners of the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) have been promoted to Commissioners by President Akufo-Addo.
According to Asaase Radio, the announcement was delivered by the Comptroller-General of Immigration, Kwame Asuah Takyi (Esq.), during a Thanksgiving Service at the GIS Headquarters in Accra.
While addressing the gathering, Comptroller-General Takyi praised the appointees for their dedication and exemplary leadership.
He also conveyed his gratitude to President Akufo-Addo for his continued support of the Service.
The event included vibrant performances from the GIS Dance Band and the Inspirational Choir, highlighting the Service’s achievements over the past year and its vision for the future.
