Member of Parliament for Nhyiaeso, Stephen Amoah, PhD known popularly as Sticka has put his seat in parliament on the line if the first term of John Dramani Mahama’s government had the same level of infrastructural development as Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
According to him, if Ghanaians are truthful, they will agree that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government is engaged in developing infrastructure across the country.
He made this known when he spoke to the press in parliament.
Stephen Amoah is on record saying, “If you want, I can gamble with my seat and add money. Let’s count the infrastructural development by Nana Addo and put it side by side with what the NDC did and if you check and the evidence you doesn’t point to the position I’m espousing, I will leave my seat. Look at the road network even in Accra, look at health, education. When Nana Addo came to Kumasi did you see the health facilities he commissioned?” he questioned..
Stephen Amoah touching on the economy of the country said Ghana is currently growing twice as it was pre COVID era.
“We are growing about twice in 2016. 2016 we were growing 3.2, 3.4. After COVID we made government workers stay home but they were paid for no work done. Have you ever seen that Ghanaian workers have been asked to stay home because of the pandemic and get paid before?
