Ghana’s president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, will deliver the State of the Nation address today, January 3, 2024.
The address, his final, is enshrined by Ghana’s constitution: Article 67 of 1992, constitution, and serves as a concluding report on the nation’s status before the president vacates office.
The President is expected to provide a fair understanding of the state of the economy and account for his stewardship as he exits office.
The address will be presented in the chamber of parliament at exactly 10am.
