Kidnapped Anglican Archbishop, Driver Released


The kidnapped senior Anglican cleric, Most Rev. Prof. Godwin Okpala, has been freed.

Archbishop Okpala was released alongside his driver.

Okpala, a retired Archbishop of the Niger Province and Bishop of Nnewi was abducted while on his way to Umuchu, a community in Anambra State, for a burial ceremony.

Details of his release are still emerging, but the news has been met with jubilation on various social media platforms of the Anglican Church.
