I’ll ensure Ghana is banned on the international market if farmers are not treated right—Kwame A Plus

Member of Parliament elect, Kwame Asare Obeng popularly known as A Plus has threatened to ensure Ghana is banned on the International cocoa market if farmers are not treated right after the new government takes over.

According to him, he will embark on a campaign of putting together videos from farming communities of children being used as labour on cocoa farms and share them with international bodies to ensure that they Ghana is dealt with.

He will do this according to him because farmers have been shortchanged over the years, and that cannot continue to be the case.

In a post shared via social media, A Plus said “Meanwhile, the same government, led by “empty headed” greedy bustards like Abu Jinapor, spend massive budgets on tree-planting projects. Neem trees they dey export? After Swearing-in, if government does not take good care of the farmers and continue stealing from them, l’ll travel to villages to collect evidence of child labour on cocoa farms so that Ghana cocoa will be banned from the international market and all the farmers will enter into galamsey. If you can’t stop child labour, at least let the “labours” also enjoy- or we will all lose! You now see kɔnkɔnsa MP before abi?”
