Stonebwoy calls out Shatta Wale’s ‘big mouth’ and GHC5,000 stunt in fiery interview

Bhim Nation boss Stonebwoy has dished out his frustrations during an explosive interview on Angel FM in Kumasi.

The Dancehall artist didn’t mince words as he indirectly referred to his longtime rival, Shatta Wale, as a “trickster” and “a man with a big mouth,” while recounting an incident involving a GH¢5,000 cash giveaway.

The heated exchange came up when Stonebwoy shed light on how Shatta Wale allegedly set up MC Portfolio with the cash stunt during an appearance on Fakye TV.

Using both subtle jabs and direct accusations, Stonebwoy painted a vivid picture of what he called Wale’s “gimmicks.”

“Don’t you know the tricks of this man? This trickster? This settings man?” Stonebwoy remarked.

“He set him [MC Portfolio] up with GH¢5,000. He’s keeping tons of five cedi notes in his room, so he thinks he has money.”

In an animated tone, Stonebwoy went further to contrast Wale’s gesture with his own financial position. “He met him [Portfolio] and wanted to intimidate him with five cedi notes.

“Ask him, how many times have I promised to give him stuff? How much is GH¢5,000? By God’s grace, I have more than GH¢5,000 to offer.”

Stonebwoy also took the opportunity to address perceptions about his silence on controversies.

He made it clear that his reluctance to engage in public disputes shouldn’t be mistaken for fear or indifference.

“Do you guys actually think we are scared to speak up?” he queried, suggesting that his silence often comes from a place of maturity rather than weakness.
